The Scottsdale Writers’ Group meetings are scheduled like this:
Critique Group (All Writing – fiction, non-fiction, children’s, travel, mystery, poetry, romance, etc.):
- Meets every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month, 9:00 AM-11:30 AM
- format: bring multiple copies of your work (summer months 7-10 copies, October-May, 14-16 copies) Up to 7 pages Times New Roman (Font), 8 pages Courier, or 10 Screenplay pages, all DOUBLE-SPACED.
- Your work will be read by you, and your copies will be returned to you with written comments, critiqued by the group. No negativity is allowed – we are all very positive and supportive of one another.
Children’s Writers Crtique Group:
- Meets every 2nd and 4th Friday of the month, 9:00 AM-11:30 AM
- format: Same as above, children’s books
Writer’s Workshop:
- Meets every 1st and 3rd Friday of the month, 9:00 AM-11:00 AM
- format: Writing exercises – bring pen/pencil and paper, and be ready to write. WE will get the ideas flowing!
